Apostle, baptisms, and transfers!

This week has been crazy well more like the weekend. We were visited by an Apostle, Elder D. Todd Christofferson! I did not give him the tour, but I do have a picture! We didn't get to talk, just shook hands, but it was still pretty cool. There was a conference for Mission Presidents in San Diego and they all came to take tours so there were lots of tags! Mission Presidents serving in California, Oregon, Washington, Hawaii, lots of places, it was really nice to think that we all have the same purpose. No matter where we serve, we are one body.
This weekend we also had a baptism! Angel and Tomasa were baptized! Another cool thing was that another set of missionaries had someone be baptized and the branch had their own baptism! So four people were baptized, it was great! The best thing was that Tomasa's husband came. He is recovering from his 6th stroke. He is paralyzed in half of his body and we were worried because before his stroke he didn't want anything to do with us. He was very closed minded, but once he saw his son, Angel, come out dressed in white, he could not hold in the tears. He was so happy, he even said "para la proxima soy yo" basically "I am next". It was a great service, the spirit was very strong.
Transfers... I am staying in Logan, which I am really happy about, and I will be training a new missionary. I am a little scared, nervous, but excited. I am grateful that the Lord has trust in me. That's something that I have to constantly remind myself. The Lord trusts in me, so I need to trust myself. As inadequate as I feel, he trusts and loves me. I need to do the same. Trust and Love him. Be obedient, work will all the strength, open my mouth and proclaim to the world about his restored gospel. If I haven't told you I am learning how to play the piano! I can read notes, but it takes me a while to know them. I did learn one hymn with both hands, Jesus Lover of My soul, which is my favorite hymn! Yay for discovering new talents! hope you all have a great week!
