As missionaries we are supposed to be home by 6pm on Halloween, since the Mormon Battalion Historic Site is basically home, we had soup and treats and we studied till we closed and it was super fun. I did dress up! I was a pioneer fairy! I will send picture later. What we were assigned to study was a couple of chapters in the scriptures about Unity. I learned that we must be unified with the LORD and his will. There was a talk in General Conference that talked about the Godhead, sometimes in the scriptures it is hard to differentiate when they talk about God, our Heavenly Father, or when they talk about Jesus Christ. They are so unified that it is hard to differentiate. That's how we need to be with him. Align our will to his, it's easier said than done, but as we work and try our hardest, one day at a time and as we use the Atonement we can accomplish it.
My new companion's name is Sister Lopez, she's from South Jordan and she played Rugby! She's really sweet!
Elisa our investigator will be getting baptized this Saturday! She has been one of the the most humble and kind person ever. She truly has a desire to follow Jesus Christ. I know that I say that about everyone but she really is putting trust in the Lord. We give her pictures of Jesus and she always hangs them on her wall. This Sunday she gave us a surprise! She called us Saturday night and told us that she wasn't going to church because she wasn't feeling well. We were bummed because that meant that she wouldn't be able to be baptized. When we walk into church, the first person we saw was her! I was so happy! It made my day!
I hope you all have a great week!
